Hello!

 

I am Elodie, a French food stylist, photographer and cookbook author based in Singapore. My career as a food stylist and photographer started nearly 10 years ago with some work experience in London and Paris and a Masters in Culinary Arts with the University of Brighton, UK. I then set sails to Singapore 11 years ago where I had the fantastic opportunity to work with many food magazines, hotels, international and local brands and write a cookbook, Kitchen Stories.

I enjoy sharing ideas and my knowledge of the industry which is why I frequently host food styling & photography workshops for corporates or individuals. I also work as a styling consultant helping restaurants with event styling and artistic direction (from coming up with a concept for their restaurant to the sourcing of props and dinnerware).

A food enthusiast who baked my first cake at the age of 5, I've found that the kitchen is the place where I like to be the most. My approach to food and cooking is reflective of my food styling: dishes are unfussy, wholesome and with a focus on the ingredients. While I am happy to style any kind of food, my passion has led me to personally rethink the way I eat and feed my family. The 4 of us are now on the slow journey to vegetarianism. Not quite there yet, but almost.

My first cookbook Kitchen Stories, published by Page One, came out in February 2015 and explored the relationship between moods and food.
